Oli plays the typewriter: Working on Anne Lindsay’s CD in Toronto , I ended up playing this old typewriter – an‘Oliver #9 Visible Writer’ from about 1910. There was one tune where Al Cross’s percussion reminded me so much of that clackity clack sound we just had to do it for real. The ‘Oliver’ belongs to David Woodhead, who got it at a garage sale when he was 7!
